A few years ago I was honored to be chosen to work with the elementary school students here in Georgia. I had a long title but in essence I was the artist for little kids. Working with kids and getting to see there creations was a most rewarding experience. The one thing that I noticed  was the lack of venues for them to show their creations. For that reason I have created these galleries for young artists (kid artists)

The rules for being included in this gallery are simple. 

I will publish any and all art sent to me, by a child, as long as it is suitable for children to see. I will put on this site paintings, drawings, sculptures and poems( any artistic endeavor). Just use one of the methods I suggest in the section titled how to submit your work.

There is no cost for this service. It will give young artists the opportunity to see their work on the web.  I am doing this to promote art among kids in the hope that when they become adults they will know its importance.

Just follow those simple instructions and your child will see his work posted on the Web in this gallery. I might from time to time comment on the work, but it will be in a helpful manner. 

All I ask is that you follow the few rules I have posted in the "How to submit your work section" 

Remember do not put a return address or last name on any of the mail you send me.

If you send me any photos or original work I will not be able to return them after they have been added to the gallery but will keep them for myself. (I have a small collection of "kid art" from children that I have met and have offered me a sample of their work - these are included in this gallery)

If you are going to photograph the work do it outside on a cloudy day, not in direct sunlight, and do not use a flash. I normally use 800 speed film.

If your child wants to correspond with me and ask any questions please do it via email and not the US mail. I have 3 three email addresses one on this site and two on my other gallery www.fredbudin.com

As I stated before there is no fee or charge to be in this gallery, but if you want to make a donation to help defer the cost of my film,  computer time and other small items please do not send more then one Dollar ($1.00!). 

Remember a culture is remembered and measured by its artistic creations not by its commercial or military accomplishments
